About our Teams:
Pre-Team:
Pre Team is the first step into our team program! Pre Team is designed for athletes to learn the basics of levels 1-3 to help lead them into level 2/sometimes 3, depending on skills they've mastered. The benefits of the Pre-Team program includes: more practice time, instructors that are current team coaches with the experience of preparing athletes for the competition world, opportunity to develop relationships with teammates at a similar development stage, and the opportunity to get an introduction to our competitive program at CCG prior to actually competing!
(Pre Team is for ages 4-7)
Hours: Pre Team is 1 practice per week (2 hours) every Thursday, 4:30-6:30pm.
Expectations: Your athlete should bring a water bottle!
They should wear a leo and will also receive a CCG practice leotard for joining Pre-Team!
Pre Team athletes train skills for level 1-3 on Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor. They also work on flexibility, conditioning, and work on memory with mini routine work. All of these skills are the basic foundation for compulsory gymnastics. These are the fundamentals they'll need throughout their entire gymnastics career.
Athletes are traditionally recommended by a coach to participate. Pre-Team Gymnastics is invite only!
